"My Bumbling Quest to Run Ultramarathons Around the World While Pontificating About Life"
I am a middle of the pack long distance runner who started this blog to pay forward to the ultramarathon community, hoping that others can gain from my victories and defeats to enhance their own ultrarunning experience. I've ran over 40 marathons and ultramarathons in last several years, but still experiencing lots of growing pain so hopefully my experience will be relevant for most runners out there.
Other than running and running related topics, I will write about other experiences that make life interesting - wandering the world, eating, and drinking!
I named this blog after Don Quixote, who is my all-time favorite character and book, because I believe there's little bit of Don Quixote in all of us: bit delirious, goofy, idealistic, and above all, kind to strangers we meet on trails.
Hope you enjoy the site and let me know if you have any questions, comments, or thoughts about the site or articles.
Thanks!
